AI Sustainability Center at the Nordic Innovation Summit
The Nordic Innovation Summit gathers innovation leaders from the Nordic region and Pacific Northwest to share their insights, build new relationships, explore opportunities for collaboration, and inspire new ways of thinking. The 2019 Summit will focus on a wide range of opportunities, including blue technology (maritime), green/clean technology, smart cities, educational technology, financial innovation, and the Internet of Things. Co-founder Elaine Weidman Grunewald is participating in the panel AI for Good: Can we make it happen along with Vahé Torossian, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Corporation. President, Microsoft Western Europe, and Alf Karlsson, fmr dep. minister of Housing and Digital.
General Insights – AI and Gender Bias
At the core of our hearts and passion lies the urge to do tech for good and at the same time avoid all forms of discriminations – for this General Insights seminar we focused on gender bias.
Keynote speaker Robin Hauser gave an inspiring presentation on implicit bias and the grip it holds on our social and professional lives, followed by an engaging panel discussion and Q&A with Tonima Afroze, Anna Berggren, Sara Övreby, and Lena Ag.
